Safe Haven 2nd Shift Case Manager

Location: Appleseed Community Mental Health Center – Safe Haven Domestic Violence Shelter

Shift: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 4 PM – 12 AM

Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Case Manager to join our Safe Haven Domestic Violence Shelter team. In this role, you will provide critical, trauma-informed case management and crisis intervention to individuals and families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting intake assessments and providing immediate crisis support for survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
  • Offering trauma-informed care to residents of the shelter and responding to calls on our 24-hour crisis hotline.
  • Utilizing your expertise in domestic violence and sexual assault intervention and prevention to support clients effectively.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience in domestic violence services may substitute for a degree.
  • Ability to connect with individuals from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Strong time-management, organizational skills, and effective communication (both verbal and written).
  • Must pass background and drug test.
